It's the last day of me being in Ontario and I've found I've been thinking about my future even more than ever. I'm at that stage in my life where things are starting to fall into place to direct me to my true future and destiny. I have a reason to like Valentines day now..well a couple of reasons. ;)Tonight was wonderfull full of romance...a nice dinner and a funny movie with cuddling to match. I got to Toronto about 11pm last night, so me and my sweetie got to spend a half an hour or so together on the official V-Day.
We celebrated tonight and it was truly special. We both got dressed up and ordered a nice dinner from Swiss Chalet. We really did spoil ourselves with the family dinner and dessert to top it off with some pepsi. The thing I absolutly loved was the just the mood of the moment and the atmosphere. Having a nice dinner in a dress at his place...with candle light and plus cuddling to a funny movie and well...lol other stuff duh. So...happy v-day to all couples out there and much luck to the people still finding thier sweet hearts. Sending love to my sweetie who's sitting beside me. *huggles to u all* |

| Leading Up to Christmas |

Well, I’m going to continue on with talking about Christmas before it becomes March lol. Anyway, the first night with Matt was wonderful…the bed was a little uncomfy because it was smaller, but otherwise it was a sweet night into the early morning. Next day, we basically hung out, caught up with each other and just enjoy one another’s company. We had a couple of days like that and it felt so warm and inviting. ( Read more... ) |

I’ve decided it’s time I finally post something about this past Christmas. With college starting up again and looking into finding work, I’ve had to put this on hold, but least now I can write fully about it. | MARKETING MANAGMENT IS FREAKING DONE!!! THE HORROR IS OVER |

*throws confetti* Thank god it's finally over. Another one of my classes is done with and is finally over. This class caused me the most grief and I even talked with my mom a bit this morning before I left the college cause I didn't have everything done.
She and I had a heart to heart. I asked her if someday she would be ok with me going to live and do schooling in Canada. She simply said live your own life...you're only younge once. Take every opportunity you can. Words of wisdom mom's usually have. I know she still is worried about me and matt's relationship, but once she meets him I'm sure she will be relieved. She told me alot on what was going on with dad and her, basically venting to me. I love her so much, and even though it's not my respondsibility with my brothers, I want to help out. The talk really made me think alot about the next year. No more clowning around...no more procrastinating...no more wondering what if...it's going to be time to work my ass off.

Opportunity for an International Student Exchange with Germany
Six marketing students will be selected for participation in an educational and cultural exchange with Max-Eyth School located in Dreieich, Germany near the city of Frankfurt. Students will stay with German host families/students during the exchange.
Estimated Travel Dates: March 14 to March 24, 2007 (includes the week of MSTC spring break).
Estimated Costs: Round-trip airfare from CWA to Frankfort $600
Travelguard Insurance $75
Passport & Photos $125
Personal Expenses up to $500 (sightseeing, shopping, meals not provided by host)
Estimated Total $1,300 (based on travel costs at time of booking)
Applications Due to the Student Affairs office by noon on December 15, 2007
Submit:
The student screening checklist
500 word (maximum) essay on why you want to represent MSTC as part of the student exchange
Completed Instructor Recommendation form
Finalists will be invited for a personal interview. Selection will be based on ability to meet checklist criteria, essay, instructor recommendation, personal interview, and academic performance.
So, I'm going to have to budget like mad to keep money saved up, but otherwise I think I can get in easily. This is an opportunity that will look above and beyond on a resume. Hey...next year is the year of true change for the better and of true new beginning and one very special continuation.

Things to do: Finish Cross-Tabulation, finish thank you card, check out price ranges and budget for the Germany Trip, start application for German trip immediatlly, get tutorial 2 done and basically get major works completed. Gonna stay at the college late because I can use high speed to research faster. |

Well, let's see...Promotion Principles is done and tomorrow for our last class we're getting a continential breakfast as a thank you for the good job we did working on Hoops for Hunger.
